I am one of a small number of professionals within the U.K. to provide both counselling and psychotherapy services to people who experience memory difficulties. I have over 28 years experience of providing counselling, advice and support to individuals, couples and families when their lives have been affected by memory difficulties.
As a counsellor, psychotherapist and independent social worker I have supported hundreds of people to receive information, advice and emotional support that has enabled them to make positive changes and regain the sense of control in their lives.
I have completed four and a half years of advanced clinical training in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy at the South Manchester Manchester Centre for Psychotherapy. This training has enabled me to understand the many emotional and psychological needs of all individuals whose lives have been affected by memory difficulties.
I am a qualified, registered Social Worker and Associate Lecturer in Social Work within universities across the North of England. This means that I can provide you with independent advice regarding support and care entitlements, including funding for care issues.
